Pastor

Elizabeth Criscuolo

Pastor Liz came to Schenectady in 2018 after having spent seven years in the Southern Tier. She attended Eastern Nazarene College and graduated with her B.A. in 2006 and from there went on to attend Nazarene Theological Seminary graduating with her Master of Divinity in 2011. She has served in pastoral roles on the Upstate New York District since 2011 and was ordained as Elder in 2016. Pastor Liz has also served as the District NDI President since 2021.

During her time of serving in pastoral positions she also worked for a non-profit organization, ACCORD, gaining experience in volunteer management, mediation for the unified court system of New York, facilitation, and restorative practices (she has also held certifications for each of those practices). She is passionate about seeing conflict resolution and restorative practices utilized by pastors and laity on the Upstate district.

Pastor Liz is excited to empower the church in partnership with community members like Northern Rivers, City Mission, and Paige Elementary School. And sees it as an honor and a privilege to encourage the church to love and serve alongside their neighbors.

Pastor Liz and her husband, Gabriel, enjoy their pastime bowling here in Schenectady. They bowl leagues and tournaments together while caring for the people within that community. They also enjoy going on hikes together and spending lots of time with their dog, Tucker.
